On July 15th a single baby girl was brought into this world to two loving parents her mother Konoe, Konoka and her father Yuki, Hazama. When she was born her parents were both stunned, her father was a descendent of the Yuki clan yet their bloodline had skipped his family line for years and now in this single bundle of joy it had been reborn, Setsuna was born with flawless snow like skin as snow fell on her birth. Whenever she would giggle the windows would freeze and snowflakes would begin to fall.

From the moment she began to walk her bloodline was second nature to her as if it was an extension of herself. She seemed to be fully aware of her unique ability constantly pulling on her small chakra reserves subconsciously to create icy winds or flowers of ice. By the age of three many labelled her a beautiful child as if she was born from snow a woman of the snow a mythical ‘Yuki-Onna’ or snow woman. Everyday her parents told her just how beautiful she was and how blessed they were to have her.

By five years of age her parents started teaching her, the basics of chakra such as the tree climbing exercise as well as teaching her the basics of taijutsu. Setsuna was always studious having a level of maturity not known but others her age as if she was an adult inside a child’s body. From the age of five Setsuna was aware of everything around her and the shinobi life however she was pacifistic in her ways turning away from violence wanting to follow a path of peace and love. As she studied she began to view that fighting was not to satisfy one’s own needs but to protect what was precious to one. As she saw others stating hatred, prejudice or simple competition as an excuse for battle she deemed them instinctual and animalistic that it made them "childish," "unworthy," and "not much of a warrior. Unlike others she would show mercy and compassion to her foes never to raise her blade against the weak or injured.

By eight Setsuna entered into the Shinobi academy in order to become a Kunoichi and hope to spread peace.

During her time at the academy Setsuna experienced many feelings and experiences. During her first year she watched many of her classmates glorify the shinobi world saying that they would be welcomed as hero’s for fighting many battles. To her this was a pitiful reason to seek battle they were not worth her time. The girls of her class that sought after the boys were always not worth her time instead she spent her years by herself reading in the library or at home furthering her skills.

In her second year her father awarded her a prize scroll he had kept all these years hidden, a scroll that would help her with her unique talent the Hyouton or Ice Release Kekkei Genkai. The scroll had exercises in which would instruct her on how to use and control her element as well as a few jutsu listed near the bottom. When not in class she had her nose constantly in her father’s scroll or was constantly training her abilities to improve them. She came to understand her bloodline was a combination of wind and water nature chakra allowing her to use the two as well.

In her third year she had pushed her bloodline aside to work on her wind nature chakra more specifically a way to use it to boost her speed as she would naturally be physically weaker than most shinobi being a girl so speed would be her edge. She had the idea that by moulding wind chakra into the soles of her feet and pushing it out she could create a repulse force to propel her body forward. Every day she practiced with this many times sending herself crashing into a number of solid objects only to rise and try it again it was by the fourth year of school and her twelfth birthday she finished her first ninjutsu the Kaze no Mai or Dance of the Wind.

In her last year she became interested in the art of the blade studying under a retired veteran by the name of Kisuke, Mifune. She learned the very basics of the sword and became wrapped by it as an idea popped into her head, could she combine her ice release with her sword style to create a unique style of fighting known only to her. When she presented the idea to her sensei who encouraged the idea. In order to design this, her sensei issued with her a chakra conductive blade to only be used while he was with her. By the end of the year she had created the basic kata and a name for her style the Kori Megami no Ken. At the end of the year and her thirteen birthday she graduated from the academy becoming a Kunoichi.

Setsuna was placed onto a Genin team with two other students both Kunoichi the first a young girl with purple hair named Marabi and the second a year older then Setsuna a girl named Kagami. There sensei was a veteran Jounin Sensei specialising in water and lightning ninjutsu. The first few months were spent together allowing the team to get to know one another and entwine each other’s skills and abilities to create a perfect unison. When not with her team Setsuna was with her other sensei furthering her sword style in order to create the first dance.

The first year as a genin went by peacefully performing a number of low level C rank missions as well as improving their own base skills honing them with a fine tooth and comb. Her reflexes began to grow as well as her speed being the fastest on her team. She began to test her ice element in order to create her own ice based ninjutsu. By the end of the year she was successful creating her first ninjutsu the Hyouton: Kori no hahen (Ice Release: Shards of Ice). From her father’s scroll she had learned Hyouton: Kori Yari (Ice Release: Ice Spears), Hyōton: Tsubame Fubuki (Ice Release: Swallow Snow Storm) and the Hyour no Jutsu (Ice Prison Technique).
Into her second year as a genin and age fourteen her sensei began to take them on higher C rank missions allowing them to experience their first skills, forced kill with Setsuna as she had refused until her sensei had pushed her into it setting her up. Setsuna was horrified by what she had been made to do and in her fury had attacked her own sensei out of vengeance wanting to tear his own throat out for making her do such a thing. Though being only a genin her sensei quickly struck her down knocking her into blissful unconsciousness only to awake in the Seikogakure hospital. She removed herself from her team.

For the next two years Setsuna stuck to herself training with her first sensei to develop her Kori Megami no Ken rarely being seen around the village except at home or her sensei’s training dojo. In those four years they had worked on refining her Ninjutsu until she could perform them as if second nature. With her sword style she had invented two techniques the Kissu and the Kotta Kaze both when using a chakra conductive blade leant by her sensei were incredibly deadly techniques.

At sixteen Setsuna steeled her resolve and entered back onto a genin team one that had graduated six months ago and lost one of their team-mates. She joined as the Chunin exams were coming up within a month’s time and she was looking to increase her rank to allow herself access to better weaponry and higher level ninjutsu to improve her abilities. During the month she trained with her new team-mates in order to become acquainted with their abilities and skills.  With the passing month and the rising exams she could see her team-mates becoming nervous and gave them reassuring smiles to calm their nerves.

The first exam was a simple written test designed to test their ability to gather information and to test them to see if they were willing to put their lives on the line. The second was a hunt looking for a set of talismans each team was to gather five talismans’ each with a different element being fire, earth, water, wind and lightning to pass you needed all five and each team was given a different element. Every team had five days to gather the needed items. Using her ice release she froze enemy genin teams allowing her team-mates to take the talismans without any resistance. The third exam was a tournament style battle each genin would be paired up against each other in a month’s time to see if they had what it took to be Chunin.

For the month Setsuna had a custom blade commissioned that would harness her Ice release bloodline to give her an edge in the tournament. While her blade was being forged she took to create more unique stances of her Kori Megami no Ken. Within this single month she created three new dances that she would showcase throughout the exam to prove her sword style superior. The three techniques she created she named Megami-bi kaika seppen, Kyokusetsu shiro  and Tsukishiro.

As the third exam arrived she found herself facing off against a young boy from Kumogakure no sato who specialised in lightning nature ninjutsu. She carefully utilised her Kaze no Mai with two steps using the first to close in appearing in front of him and the third to move behind him catching the boy off guard. She struck with her sword using her Kori Megami no ken: Niban no Mai:  Kotta Kaze (Sword of the Ice Goddess: Second Dance: Icy Wind) hitting both his arms freezing them preventing him from using any ninjutsu winning her the match. In her second match she set up her Kori Megami no ken: Goban no Mai: Tsukishiro (Sword of the Ice Goddess: Fifth Dance: White Moon) and as her opponent lunged towards her utilised the Kaze no Mai to flash backwards. As her foe landed where she once stood she activated her Tsukishiro encasing him in a ten metre high pillar of ice. Her third match went the same catching her foe off guard and freezing their body. It was through this she was promoted to the rank of chunin.

For the last two years using her rank as chunin she has taken the time to perform low level B rank missions to gain experience and to hone her skills with her Kori Megami no Ken.

Style Weapon: The Kori Megami no Ken  is a Sword based style of fighting as such a sword is necessary for it to be used. The preferred sword type is a Wakizashi, Katana, Nodachi or Uchigatana.
Description:  The Kori Megami no Ken is a sword based form developed and created by Yuki, Setsuna as a way to complement her Hyouton or Ice Release Kekkei Genkai. The basics of the sword style, is to channel ice nature chakra through a chakra conductive blade to create a thin layer of ice around the metal.  Kori Megami no Ken is utilised by a number of mai or dances each designed to make the wielder and creator Setsuna appear as if she is dancing gracefully. By utilising ice chakra one can manipulate it and use it for strong powerful sword techniques. With it with a single slash of a blade one can release ice chakra through their foes body freezing internal organs, blood and bones snapping them. The focal point of the Kori Megami no Ken is speed.

Yuki has a blade length of 20 inches and the length of the tsuka (hilt) is 6 inches making the blade 26 inches long slightly longer than the average katana by 3 inches. The blade has been forged through a Soshu Kitae method layering seven steals to create a stronger more durable blade. The Tsuka is wrapped in white silk and bound tightly. A number of different types of file markings are etched into the tsuka, including horizontal, slanted, and checked, known as ichi-monji, ko-sujikai, sujikai, ō-sujikai, katte-agari, shinogi-kiri-sujikai, taka-no-ha, and gyaku-taka-no-ha. The Tsuba or guard of the blade is a golden oval. The Saya or scabbard is white with gold trimmings at the top and the same markings as the Tsuka. Attached to the end of the Tsuka is a long flowing silk white ribbon that is twenty inches long

Yuki is a hand craft blade that was requested by Setsuna at one of the local blacksmiths of Seikogakure who came highly recommend. She had the blade forged when she was ten with the help of her parents paying for it upon its creation. She designed the sword herself in order for its own beauty to reflect hers and the stunning yet deadly sword style she was creating for her bloodline.

Sode no Shirayuki is a katana that was designed and personally forged for Yuki, Setsuna and has been regarded as a beautiful masterpiece. Sode no Shirayuki has a blade length of 20 inches and the length of the tsuka (hilt) is 6 inches making the blade 26 inches long slightly longer than the average katana by 3 inches. The blade has been forged through a Soshu Kitae method layering seven steals to create a stronger more durable blade. Sode no Shirayuki was created with steel and chakra conductive metal to allow Setsuna to use her full potential and complete her Kori Megami no Ken sword style. While using the blade in the exams many would complement its beauty and her own.

Description:  The Kaze no Mai is a personal ninjutsu created by Yuki, Setsuna and is closely guarded by her. The Kaze no Mai or Dance of the Wind is a ninjutsu which utilises the wind element and is designed to fully allow her to take advantage of her Kori Megami no Ken. This movement technique allows Setsuna to move faster than the eye can follow when used at its full potential. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterised by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps.

Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Kaze no Mai can move; those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it for an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower, which requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become winded far easier in a shorter amount of time. Those who practice the Kaze no mai are able to perform this technique 10 times before becoming winded, those who are out of practice are only able to perform this technique 5 times before becoming winded.

When Setsuna performs this technique a gentle breeze flows behind her as well as a whistle like noise representing the howling wind. This movement technique is ideal for use in combat or for travelling over large distances with full mastery.

To perform the basics of this Jutsu Setsuna will channel her wind nature chakra directly into the soles of her feet. As the wind chakra gathers she will release it as a large burst creating a push of air beneath her that forces her body to propel forward. By keeping a constant flow of wind chakra to her feet she can create a constant push of wind that creates a powerful gust behind her. When performing this technique Setsuna kicks off the ground with a single foot pushing her nature from his feet into the ground like jet propulsion to launch herself forward across the ground. BY redirecting the flow of wind chakra either behind her, in front of her or to the side she can move in any direction she feels. By using the chakra for propelling if in mid air she can release a burst of wind chakra from her feet in order to launch her body while in mid flight without needing a platform as the expelling wind chakra acts as a pushing force, with this is can help give her an edge. She can also expel wind chakra straight down to increase her jumping height if needed by 10 feet.

A B rank Kaze no Mai boosts ones speed by 40%. The basic Chunin moves at a max speed of roughly 22mph the C rank Kiretsu increases this to 30mph.

Description: The Kissu or Kiss is the first dance of Setsuna’s Kori Megami no Ken. For this move to be executed Setsuna will kiss the tip of her blade and slowly begin hum softly to herself a peaceful and beautiful loving tune. She will smile towards her opponent holding her katana in her sword arm allowing the ribbon to flow behind her. She will allow her wind nature chakra to flow into the bottoms of her zori and release the wind chakra to perform her Kaze no Mai. As she gets in range she will thrust her sword forward rapidly aiming towards points of the body mainly the shoulders, legs and ribs aiming to pierce these areas to disable her foe. By redirecting her thrusts towards the vitals she can aim to kill.

When Setsuna uses this technique with a chakra conductive blade she will let her ice nature chakra flow into her lips as she kisses the blade. The ice will travel from her lips down the length of her blade encasing it in a layer of thin ice. At the tip of the blade an outline of her lips will form. The ice will harden becoming incredibly sharp and cold. When she propels forth with her Kaze no Mai with each thrust she will let her ice chakra flow forth into the wounds of her foe freezing the area. The ice will spread within a 3 inch radius of the frozen area and freezes in half an inch deep, although the ice takes time to form freezing the area by the users 2nd post. With enough strikes of her blade she can potentially freeze her foe. With each pierce an outline of her lips will form over the frozen area as if she is kissing their entire body with each strike, as such the techniques name.

Description: The Kotta Kaze or Icy Wind is the Second Dance of Setsuna’s Kori Megami no ken. When using this technique Setsuna will kiss her left index and middle finger before running them down the edge of her blade a heart warming smile on her stunning features. She will utilise her Kaze no Mai to get within range of her opponent spinning on her heel letting her blade slice through the air. Regardless if she hits or not she will continue spinning a full 360 degrees her blade swinging back around as if to deliver a secondary strike, but as she turns she releases her grip letting her hand slide down and latch onto her ribbon extending the length of her sword.

When using a chakra conductive blade Setsuna as she kisses her fingers moulds ice nature to her lips and then into her fingers creating a thin layer over the tips. As her fingers run down the length of her blade the wind begins to chill around her picking up slowly. Her fingers as they slide down the metal begin to grow colder as sharpened ice forms around the edge. When she attacks the ice will freeze anything she cuts but as she spins around and grabs the ribbon she lets her chakra flow into the blade causing a gust of icy wind to erupt forth from the blade as it comes back around to slam into her opponent to propel them a good foot back and freeze the area struck by her frozen wind within a 6 inch area of the struck area. The ice however is only a quart of an inch thick so will melt after two posts.

Description: The Megami-bi Kaika Seppen is the third dance utilised in Setsuna’s Kori Megami no ken. When performing this dance Setsuna will let her ice chakra flow forth throughout her body and into her sword. The wind begins to pick up around her as snowflakes begin to fall to the ground as the temperature around her begins to drop. Snowflakes land on her blade as ice begins to encase its length. With a heart warming smile she will flash forth with her Kaze no Mai to get in range of her opponent and thrust the blade forward with as much force as possible. The ice at the tip is designed to freeze objects on impact cutting down their strength before the metal pierces through allowing the blade to continue on and pierce deep into her opponents.  Then a huge burst of ice erupts from the point of contact between the blade and her opponent spreading out around her opponent completely encasing and ensnaring them in a block of ice that takes the shape of a tsubaki like flower.

She will slowly bring the icy wind up her throat and expel it out of her lips but as she does she will join the ice molecules together launching a barrage of deadly ice shards from her lips that fly forth as genin level speed to pierce her intended target(s). By continuously channelling ice chakra into her lungs she can release a constant stream of ice shards.

The user of this jutsu must create this clone form a source of water.  Once the clone is made it has a limited distance that it can travel from the main body of the user.
