Kei had rested the night away in a comforting sleep, Kei was rejuvenated. Some might wonder in fact, how he had recovered from using so much chakra. But he was  Kodomo, and through his blood, literally, ran healing powers. He recovered fast from things like that. He was now in a solitary piece of woodlands, newar a very large river to which he was going to use for it‘s large body of water, and low ris of anyone really getting hurt from his training.. It was time for him to practice with his new mark. He needed to refine it’s level. He needed to train with it and experience it in it’s totality. And as a result, he set himself on a tree branch and began with meditation. This was, perhaps, the first step he would take. But it seemed a logical one. He needed to get a good feeling for how his body took to the mark, and that was a good way to do so in general. He rested himself on the tree branch, in a more natural sitting position, his legs dangling off the tree branch as he thought. He directed his thoughts towards the chakra flow of his chara network, seeing the way it woves around his marking. It had changed his chakra system ever so slightly from before. But that was to be expected considering the long term side effects, which were not nearly so malevolent in nature.

Kei began with a slow awakening of the mar. He took his shirt off, and watched the spiraling pattern of thin gold lines, a gold line starting just past each wing on the mark. Truly it was a beautiful mark, he had to admit. The lines spread slowly, as he awakening them slowly, adding to his natural chakra pool. But it was having no real effect as he wasn’t really using any jutsu. The problem was that he could not perform such jutsu here. He held his meditation as he focused on the way his chakra creatred to the unfurling spiraling lines as they moved slowly across his sin. Had he been wearing a shirt it would only be a little visible past his sleeves as the lines slowly wound their way around his body. For now, he would not be able to put it to much use. But he let them unfurl, fueling his body with an abnormal amount of chakra considering his abilities. Then again ninja of his caliber were not very common. Kei focused on the feel of the chara, letting it come into him and swirl around in his body, adding to the natural pool of his own normal chakra.

The feeling was slightly like a high, feeling it within him and around him, his own chakra level spiking to greater heights than normal. He focused on the chakra feeling it in his orangs and sin, before he felt he needed t expend it. As he wasn’t using his chakra, what marking was visible on him had stopped coming. He channeled the new and unexpended chakra back into the mar and the lines unfurled on his skin, going back into the mark, until there was no spiraling lines on his flesh. But he could not test it purely with meditation, he would be foolish to try it, he needed to test the boundaries of his new mar, and it’s benefits. To expand it into the capabilities he knew it had. But he could not do such for himself without actual practice with it and true training.

With that Kei jumped off the tree branched and ran into the middle of the river, and focused on his hand seals,. With several of them in rapid succession and the right manipulation of his chakra he created lighting clone next to him. He would spar with himself. Both the real Kei had his clone smiled at one another. But then the clone took off, running at Kei’s full speed, turning after some distance was gained. His clone would focus on evasion while he focused on trying to attack his clone. This would be a good way to test it in a combat situation. And that was what he needed right now, for his chakra to be depleted. And he could not test that by sitting around meditating and concentrated on it all day. As his clone began running around a bit, Kei concentrated, using the great quantity of the water in this river, and lack of anyone to be hurt to his own advantage. This was a good spot for such suiton jutsu, and he was sure the senju practiced it here regularly.. First, kei concentrated and pulled some hand seals, causing a great spinning drill to fly out of the water, made entirely from the water, aiming for his own clone. Kei focused again as he began to run himself. His own clone avoided the water drill, eyeing him apprehensively.

Kei then ran forward towards the clone. The clone ran forward as well, and they began to fight each other in close hand to hand fasion. Neither of them of great strength, and that was fact, so he couldn’t really get hurt in this. His clone deflected his blows towards it, dodging and weaving around Kei’s attacks, which kei did in turn. He was more evasive than attacking. He continued to deflect and dodge blows, Kei and his clone fighting for dominancy, the clone striking light blows to Kei and Kei avoiding doing just the same to the clone, for fear of wearing it out or injuring it, there was no cause for wasting chakra by destroying his own clone in training. Kei bounced rapidly backwards. Both of his hands, independently and separately, both started forming different seals as he rapidly made seals, jumping around to avoid his clone, both hands flying at great speeds through hand seals for 2 separate jutsu. The clone burst forth towards him as they continued, Kei dodging only. But then ei craeted a rapid wall of water, which caught the clones fist and protected ei, even while another spinning and rotating drill came forth from the water towards the clone. The clone exploded and Kei felt an electrical pulse as the water drill surged through the clone. With the water wall diverting the attack it had not been able to dodge, thus gotten hit. But he was ready, rapidly making more hand seals, creating another clone. The quickly went into another flurry of blows. Kei was trying to wear his own body down, but it just wasn’t working fast enough. He had too much chakra to wear it out fast. But he could feel the mark spreading around now, across his mid section, but still vvery hidden and far from fully opened. He needed to test it more. With that in mind, he jumped backwards from their rapid fire fighting, avoiding oen another as they fought, not deal actual blows but tiring themselves. But at his level it wasn’t easy enough to tire himself out like this. He needed more.

Kei paused and performed some seals, creating a ball of water in his hand, which quickly broke off into 10 separate small bullets, which he fired towards his clone, who dodged them all. He was not aiming with great accuracy, so while tough, his clone pulled it off. Kei jumped backwards again, as his clone dodged and began to once again form hand seals, concentrating as he molded his chakra. Kei let loose a storm of conjured water, a flurry of water flowed and erupted out of the water. Water Collision Destruction was a powerful move to be sure. His clone deftly dodged and weaved around the massive waves of water from the eruption out of the river. Again, he had not been aiming perfectly, so it was doable. The point was not to see how many clones he could destroy, but rather to wear himself out. He could feel the mark expanding as he fought, as he used up his own chakra stores.

Kei backed up more, running backwards more slowly than normal, once again using 2 hands at once, but yet apart from one another, performing 2 jutsu at the same time as he concentrated upon the seals, avoiding his clone as he focused, and drawing more power from himself. He needed to test himself, or else the mar would not expand. He craeted 2 big eruptions of water at the same time, performing 2 simultaneous water collision destruction jutsu’s. His clone had no hope to avoid it, and was trashed violent upon by the waves as they swept him around in the vase current. But he could feel it. The lines had expanding with his rapid chakra usage, offering up thei stores of chakra if he needed it. He could feel it! The chakra was there he needed only accept it into himself and use it. But rather than the malevolent and angry chakra of a curse mar, it was more peaceful. Kei focused and with another series of hand seals, created another raiton clone to spar with, fighting himself in close combat again, striking at and yet at the same time deflecting one another. It was there! Nearing it’s limits! He could see the spiraling lines growing on his arms as he wore himself out, their open indication to use the chakra called to him, be he didn’t need it.

Kei took longer to fight, starting to tire as he fought. He was now playing a game of tag with himself, using water walking the entire time as he had been during his entire mock fight. Kei focused as he dodged and avoided, trusting his palm out, deflecting another palm, jumping to avoid a low sweeping kick, then thursting again towards the clone. They continued this way, using little chakra but physical stamina alone. But Kei, despite not being physically strong, was still fast and good at dodging, as was his clone. And that made it tough to land a hit. Then again, when fighting your own clone, you now your own moves. But as he fought, and continued on, his lines slowly expanding into their gently and beautiful pattern, he could see them entirely down his arms now, and the reflective surface of the water showed the lines beginning to invade his face, which was a good sign, and ultimately, what he had wanted. After another hour of fighting, Kei jumped into a tree branch, his clone soon after, and began another round of meditation to rest the body, and to explore his chakra with these lines now enveloping his face arms and legs, along with his abdomen chest and back.

He focused in his meditation, seeing the water the chara in his sin seemed to want to follow the lines, want to follow the pattern and swirl all over his skin. It was subtle, and not blatantly obvious even to those with chakra sensory abilities, yet it was there when the lines where out. He focused his chakra, and watched as the chakra trailled along the lines if they lead to where he was focusing. It was interesting to watch the pattern unfold as he examined himself. He kept his thoughts onto the pattern as he meditated. But then he jumped down rapidly, his clone following him, and they continued their fighting now, matching one another without actualy injuring them. It seemed to take forever, but he could feel it growing, the lines near their completion as they covered his entire body, all of his face was now a tangle of spiraling and curing lines. He could feel it dawning now, the power nearing it’s potential to expand into a new being. He could sense it coming, and as he felt his lines hit the limit of their current level, he resisted it for now, but memorized the feeling. He knew he could recall it now, but felt he didn’t want to quite yet. He exalted in the completion of his mark, even if he had yet to physically take it all the way quite yet. But he new how now. He knew he could now. He would be able to draw on all his marks power when the time came. Kei set out, towards the village os Seikogakure which was pretty near. He had not been stupid enough to expend so much chakra in a location far from the village. He smiled at himself and together he and his clone walked back towards Seikogakure.
