Er...hello, everyone. It's been kind of a long time since i've written an introductory thread for a text-based RP, so i might be a bit shaky. hopefully, y'all will be able to bear with me on this one.
I know the name i gave is only going to last until i get a character up and running, which i'll try and do as quickly as possible for expediency's sake. I go by the nickname "Post" a fair amount, so if you wanted to do that, that'd be cool with me in the interim. I was told about this site by another member, and decided to try and shake the dust out of my keyboard and do this sort of thing again - i've had a variety of good and bad experiences with this sort of thing in the past, and i'm hoping that i'll be able to achieve one more along the "good" scale here.
As far as Naruto goes, i'm not a super tremendous mega fan - but it does have nostalgia appeal for me, and i'm familiarized with everything before the Shippuden stories, so hopefully i'll be able to pick up the finer details of what i've missed as i go along. I do like anime and manga a fair amount in general, though: drop a reference to something Gainex/Trigger or Urobuchi Gen has worked on, and i'll probably squee.
I'm also kind of a gamer. I used to try and define what types of games i go for, but at this point "anything with a good story or characters" is probably the most accurate summation, with good being a (highly) subjective term here. Oh, and 4X games like Civ 5 or SMAC.
With any luck, i'll be a good match for the site and we'll be able to do this RPG thing. Despite some reluctance and a slightly cynical outlook, i'm rather looking forward to this.
