Word Counts and Training

Alright so here it comes. Training...it seems people are using every single topic they make as training when it is really not even really considered training. This actually just makes PAC useless, and pretty much beats the purpose of it. If you want something trained, wouldn't it be nice to actually see some training being done? Or buy it with PAC?.

This is really just a way of bending rules or no, more of making the PAC and training system useless. Basically what you guys are doing (in general) is using any kind of topic as training and that just seems kinds dumb. Its like me making a travel topic and say that I want to use it as training. Or a social normal topic and use it as training...this is just unnaceptable and plainly retarded. In my opinion, word count for training should only be used if the topic has a [Training] tag on it. Or a Spar topic in which you are actually making yourself better.

Haven't done enough stalking on here yet to see this problem but, it sounds like people are just wimping out cuz of "high" word counts. Button down and do it, it'll get easier every time. Practice makes perfect.

If this is an issue, it certainly needs to be fixed. There should be no topics other than direct training, or as mentioned, some sort of spar involving the technique, for it to be gained. While I know there was an exception for the Chuunin exams, I did not know that it was occurring elsewhere. That I have a huge issue with.

Sometimes word counts dissuade them from staying focused.

I haven't been so far around to check things out in other threads, but if this is seen as a large concern, how about bonuses and reductions?

For example: If the person does it alone, there's a lesser reward but if done in a spar, there's a better reward?

I dunno. Just throwing out an idea.
