General Overview: The Senju clan was a group of shinobi which was one of the strongest, feared and most respected clans above all other clans in the ninja world, before the founding of the hidden villages. Together with their rivals the Uchiha clan, alongside a few others, namely the four noble clans of Konoha, they are responsible for founding the first hidden village named Konohagakure and making the village into what it is today. It is important to note that, unlike the manga/anime, Senju and Uchiha are by no means related by distant relative on NarutoR. Additionally, it is not common for members to be able to manipulate wood release just because they are of the Senju.

It should be made clear that the Wood Release is rare even to those in the Senju clan. Joining does not automatically imply that you gain the wood release element, as there are only three slots for kekkei genkai bearing shinobi of the Senju Clan. In total, there can be a maximum of three Senju Clan members with the kekkei genkai. First come, first serve, no exceptions. That said, there are other methods of achieving the wood element. It is important to note that, even without the kekkei genkai wood element, Senju shinobi are made strong.

Senju clan members, like the Uzumaki, are known for their incredible life force and vitality. Additionally, they are revered for their incredible skills in ninjutsu and the ninja arts. The clan's genes have gifted members of this clan with a much extended life, bringing the life expectancy of clan members to an average of one hundred and fifteen years, should death not befall them by some other means. Members of the Senju will start with 10 skill points in their endurance stat, at the price of 5 of the member's creation stat points. For example, by paying 5 of the skill points granted to you at character creation, you can put 10 skill points in you endurance skill. This effect does not stack, but a member can continue to place their starting skill points on endurance, should they wish.

Konoha's Shadow.
An Attempt to Copy.

Although Konoha thrives on peace and strong moral conduct, that is not to say that it is without a shadow side. In times of desperation, it will do what is needed. Due to the wood release being so rare, even among the Senju Clan members, Konohagakure began experimentation with the permission of the Senju Clan. They were attempting to infuse the cells of those rare clan members who possessed the wood release bloodline into clanless shinobi. Those without a bloodline. Subjects were selected carefully, and based on their adaptability, health, and previous skill. The result was death upon death, over and over. Out of the many subjects, not many were left alive, much less able to receive the gene. This method requires admin permission by a chief admin before use. Ninja created through this method do not benefit from the Senju's other clan based characteristics; they only have the wood release element. And even then, their wood release element rarely matches up to their Senju counterparts. One of the main differences in their jutsu are the aesthetics. While Senju clan jutsu take the more natural appearance of trees and plant life, it is more common for shinobi carrying the transfused gene to use a much more man made kind of wood. More like a plank than a tree, or boards, or carvings. These shinobi can use all of the Senju Clan's mokuton element jutsu.
