The Hirameki Sword style is a one handed sword style based around short swords. It favors parrying, and slicing with sharpened tips rather than with the edge of the sword which is used primarily for parries and counters. It is favored by those who wish to keep one hand free to take down the opponent with more lethal attacks. The Hirameki style is dependent on agility and maneuverability, preferring to redirect and flow around clashing blows than take them directly.
